First Waterfront Bridal Show
Seattle’s premier waterfront venues join
forces to host the city’s first wedding showcase on the water
Venues include the Bell Harbor
International Conference Center, Seattle Marriott Waterfront hotel, Argosy
Cruises, The World Trade Center Seattle, The Edgewater, and the Seattle
Aquarium
SEATTLE, Wash. – February 14, 2012 – Seattle’s
waterfront wedding venues announced today that they have come together to
organize the city’s inaugural Weddings on the Waterfront wedding show. Weddings
on the Waterfront is an elegant wedding showcase event that features six of Seattle’s
waterfront venues during Washington’s most beautiful time of the year – July.
On Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 3 pm to 9 pm, brides and
grooms will have the chance to meet 50 of the area’s most trusted wedding
experts (from photographers to cake designers to wedding planners) while taking
in gaping views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. These wedding
professionals will be offering their best advice, specials, wedding packages,
food tastings, and special exclusive gifts for brides.
With 180-degree panoramic views of Mount Rainer, Elliot Bay
and the Seattle skyline, the show begins at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center
and continues onto the Seattle
Marriott Waterfront hotel, The
Edgewater, Argosy Cruises
(docked outside of Bell Harbor), and The
World Trade Center Seattle. The wedding showcase will conclude at the Seattle Aquarium (doors open at the
Aquarium at 6:30 pm for a special behind-the-scenes celebration on its outdoor
deck).

see Seattle’s waterfront in a way never before showcased,” said Lacey Yantis,
owner of Visions of Romance
wedding photography and co-founder of Weddings on the Waterfront. “Wedding
shows usually happen in January.
“Weddings on the Waterfront is designed to highlight our
skyline and waterfront during Washington's most beautiful time of the year,”

Important Events, also a co-founder of the wedding show.
